How to forgive yourself

We all make mistakes some big some small. but we all do it. When we fail to do what god has command that is mistake and a sin. All sin hurst us sooner or later. But how can we repair the mistake. In the scipturs is tells us all of us need to repent. Has we repent we have to turn alway from the past and let is got. In Book of Mormon, Alma 42, the prophet is talking to his son how made some real bad mistakes and at the end he tells this to his son. 29And now, my son, I desire that ye should let these things atrouble you no more, and only let your sins trouble you, with that trouble which shall bring you down unto repentance. So repentance is sorrow and dispear for the  sin balanced with the of hope of forgivness. And in morden revaation to Joseph Smith the prophet  wrote "Behold, he who has arepented of his bsins, the same is cforgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more." So as he truly repent the lord forgets it. So we learn From past and let the past be past and move on.  Don’t get discouraged if you stumble at times. Don’t feel downcast or despair if you don’t feel worthy to be a disciple of Christ at all times. The first step to walking in righteousness is simply to try. We must try to believe. Try to learn of God: read the scriptures; study the words of His latter-day prophets; choose to listen to the Father, and do the things He asks of us. Try and keep on trying until that which seems difficult becomes possible—and that which seems only possible becomes habit and a real part of you.
