God's Working our Lives

This one of my favorite quotes its from C.S.Lewis. We all are projects that God is working on. He whats us to become some thing more then we are not. So we need to be cut down a bit to be rebuilt better. We may not understand all he is Doing in our lives. He see what our potional to become. We must trust Him

imagine yourself a s a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on: you knew those Jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. but presently he starts knocking the house about  in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation i that He is building quite a different house form the one you  thought of-- throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. Your tought your were going to be made into a decent little cottage: but he is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself. [C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity, 174; book 4, chapter 9, paragraph 10]

Love the Power Build

Today a prayed and ponder about what i should post and two 4 letter words come to mind, the both start with L but the affect it so completely different things. they are love and lust. They are two poplar oppositions. Love builds and lust destroys. At the center of love and selfless service  and happiness. Lust is all about you and celebrates self-indulgence. True love endures,True love we are absolutely giddy about, But lust is characterized by shame and stealth and is almost pathologically clandestine—the later and darker the hour the better, with a double-bolted door just in case. Love makes us instinctively reach out to God and other people. Lust, on the other hand, is anything but godly and celebrates self-indulgence. Love comes with open hands and open heart; lust comes with only an open appetite. Love comes from God, lust  only comes from Satan, who will do anything he can to counterfeit true love, to profane and desecrate true love wherever and whenever he encounters it. And I have spoken of his desire to destroy us if he can.

I promise you that the light of His everlasting gospel can and will again shine brightly where you feared life had gone hopelessly, helplessly dark. May the joy of our fidelity to the highest and best within us be ours as we keep our love and our marriages, our society and our souls, as pure as they were meant to be.

Here a sweet talk about love and lust

Dont Give up on Your Family

In Family's we find some people we love the most. But because we all are human they are some people we hurt the most. A good family relationship is like fine porcine. A beautiful thing that that is created careful by our actions and words. But is can be destroyed so easily. Just one bad action and word and destroy all that work it takes to build it. that way we must be like Christ. He was the perfect example for all of us.

All family argue, but its up to us to control the situation to limit the arguments and fighting as much as possible. But how do you do. In the Book of Mormon, 3 nephi 11: 29For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of acontention is not of me, but is of the bdevil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another. So when Satan attacks your family with causing  contention. We must put off spirit of contention and try our best to do and say what Jesus would say. Its easy to angry and hard to do what Christ would do, it great peace and joy comes as we follow Christ.

One other good tip is to use i statements instead of you statements. So instead of saying "you are so lazy" you say something like "i feel like giving up when you dont help". I statements show our true feelings in non contentions way. Lasty love is a choice, if you love some one. You choice to overlook their weakness and love them for who they are

Signs of the Times and Fearing Not for Great Things are in Store

As Jesus Christ ascended into heaven at the completion of His mortal ministry, two angels declared to His Apostles, “This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11). Since that time, believers have looked forward to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The Second Coming will be a fearful, mournful time for the wicked, but it will be a day of peace for the righteous. Christ taught that he will send signs to warn the those looking for coming of Christ. Many of the signs are terrifying and dreadful. The prophets have warned that the earth will experience great turmoil, wickedness, war, and suffering. The prophet Daniel said that the time before the Second Coming would be a time of trouble such as the earth has never known (see Daniel 12:1).  We can expect earthquakes, disease, famines, great storms, lightnings, and thunder (see Matthew 24:7; D&C 88:90). Hailstorms will destroy the crops of the earth (see D&C 29:16).

Also Jesus told His disciples that war would fill the earth: “Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. … For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:6–7) This all may sound scary but is all has a reason. For when Christ returns the world must be ready for Him. The wicked can't be on the earth when Christ coming and rein and on the earth. Jesus is warning us with things to tell us to get our lives in order.

For when Jesus Christ come he wipe away all our tears and sorrow. Great will be joy of those that are with Him. So let us listen to His messages.

Sacifice Brings the Blessing of Heaven

Sacrifice means giving to the Lord whatever He requires of our time, our earthly possessions, and our energies to further His work. Today we are told to sacrifice unto God a broken heart and a contrite spirit” (3 Nephi 9:19–20). A “broken heart and a contrite spirit” means that we offer deep sorrow for our sins as we humble ourselves and repent of them. If we are to be a living sacrifice, we must be willing to give everything we have to Jesus Chris and His true church

Only through sacrifice can we become worthy to live in the presence of God. Only through sacrifice can we enjoy eternal life. We cannt be saved without it. If we arent willing to give up for the Lord how do youk think God will judge us. Many who have lived before us have sacrificed all they had. We must be willing to do the same if we would earn the rich reward they enjoy.

here is video fo a man the give of his life for the kingdom of God
As our testimonies of the gospel grow, we become able to make greater sacrifices to the Lord. Note the sacrifices made in these true examples of people in the LDS Church

A member of the Church in Germany saved his tithing for years until someone with priesthood authority could come and accept it.

A Relief Society visiting teacher served for 30 years without missing an assignment.

A group of Saints in South Africa rode for three days, standing up, to be able to hear and see the prophet of the Lord.

At an area conference in Mexico, members of the Church slept on the ground and fasted during the days of the conference. They had used all their money just to get to the conference and had nothing left for food and shelter.

One family sold their car to get the money they wanted to contribute to a temple building fund.
Another family sold their home to get money to go to the temple.

Many faithful Latter-day Saints have very little to live on, yet they pay their tithes and offerings.

One brother sacrificed his job because he refused to work on Sunday.

In one branch, the youth gave freely and willingly of their time to care for the young children while their parents helped build the meetinghouse.

Young men and women give up or postpone good job opportunities, education, or sports to serve as missionaries.

We grow strong in sacificing for the lord, the things of the word weigh us down many a times. Needed is the mind set to let go of the world and reach for the things of better. Heaven is above the earth. The blesssing of heaven wil be pured out upon you has give your life to Jesus.

Search of Truth

I think life is a never ending search for truth and happiness. They hand in hand, having  truth in our lives bring great peace and joy. We are no longer confused by voices around us. God has set a way or us to find and learn the truth of all things.

Its a three step process, but before all that we must have true desire and real intent to act on what is learned. The first step is to study it out. As a missionary for the LDS church i teach and people to read and study the Book Of Mormom and Joseph Smith. If you truly what to know the truth of these thing you will read  the book of Mormon.  After and during  study you must ponder or think about. Pondering and listening to spirit invites the Holy Ghost and revealation by it.

The last step in one of the most powerful resouche we have on these earth, i speak of pray. If you ask Heavanly Father in prayer, you cna recive an answer from Him through the Holy Ghost. Some may wonder what is the right way to pray.  Here is simple outline of how christ taught to pray.

How Do i Pray?
  • Address your Heavenly Father. ( like starting with saying, "dear Heavenly Father").
  • Express the feeling of your heart (gratitude, questions, request to confirm the truth of the Book Of Mormon and of Joseph Smith being Called to a prophet in morden days).
  • Close( "in the name of Jesus Christ, amen").
Also here are some principles that make pray more powerful in your life.
  1. make your pray meaningful. With real intent of heart it profiteth him nothing to pray, pray with energy of heart and mind, and avoid vain reptitions
  2. use language that shows love, respect, reverence, and closeness. using scripture words like thee, thou, thy, and thine
  3. always give thanks to yoru Heavenly Father.  take time to remember and thank God for all that all he has done for you.
  4. seek Heavenly Father's guidandce and stergth in all you do. He loves us all and want to help us in all our doings
  5. remember the needs of others as you pray. people all around us need help. if any thing we can pray for them
  6. Seek the guidance for the holy ghost  so you will know what to include in your prayers. the holy ghost can help know what to say, just stop and listen to feeling of your heart
  7. when you make request throught prayer, do all you can to assist in its being granted. If you have difficult task before you, Heavenly Father is pleased when you get on yours knees and ask for help and then get on your feet and go to work

The most important message you will hear today

I know the atonement is real! I have seen  is affect and blessings i my life countless times. All of our loss can be made up if we are faithful to Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we draw near to Christ by growing in faith, repenting of our sins, be baptised by his true authority, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, endure to end or live faith to gospel the rest of our lives. When we do this thing we will feel Jesus love and power more in our lives. He heal us of pain both body and soul. Sometimes we suffer from other peoples poor choices. The lord has the power to heal the broken heart. I love the atonement, in this Jesus descended below all thing so the he can save all thing. No matter your pain, distress, sorrow, and burdens the lord and felt it if not more. He know how we feel and want to help us. I love Jesus Christ he is my best friend He has done more for me then any one else. Peace can be yours if reach out for His hands of mercy

An open line to Heaven

We aren't alone. We come into the world that is full danger and confusion. With thousand of ideas and paths to take. But our loving heavenly father has provide help for us. "No Father would send His children off to a distant, dangerous land for a lifetime of testing where Lucifer was known to roam free without first providing them with a personal power of protection. He would also supply them with means to communicate with Him from Father to child and from child to Father. Every child of our Father sent to earth is provided with the Spirit of Christ, or the Light of Christ. 1 We are, none of us, left here alone without hope of guidance and redemption."(Prayer and Promptings ). God has promised us that if we ask in faith believe at we will receive it shall be give to us. But keep in mind God know what is best. In the end we will do what is best for us in his time.

God is our Father, and we are his children when we understand this pray becomes natural and instinctive on our part. Prayer is the act by which the will of the Father and the will of the child are brought into unity. The object of prayer is not to change the will of God, but to secure for ourselves and for others blessings that God is already willing to grant, but that are made conditional on our asking for them. Blessings require some work or effort on our part before we can obtain them. Prayer is a form of work, and is an appointed means for obtaining the highest of all blessing.

Many prayers remain unanswered because they are not the will of God; they in no way represent his mind, but spring out of the selfishness of man’s heart.

I know pray is real and so is God. God is an all know and all loving being, no matter how powerful He is or how many spirit children he has. He wants to talk to us all one at a time. We talk to God in pray, God speaks to us tough the scriptures and whispering of the Holy Ghost. If you have question unanswered, need direction in life, or in need of comfort that only God can give. No matter we go thought we can turn to God in pray for help. Many a times is i suffered emotional, physical, and spiritual at those moments i have found the peace that at Jesus promised us.

The power of God on the earth

The priesthood is the eternal power and authority of God, this means is that a person can act in God’s name in behalf of His church—like when we give someone power of attorney so they can act in their behalf.. God gave it to the prophets in bible and in turn they gave it to others. Priesthood holders can be authorized to preach the gospel, administer the ordinances of salvation, and govern the kingdom of God on the earth.  But at some parts of the bible the wicked people killed off all those that held the priesthood or the prophets. When is happened it is call an apostasy or when they are in a state of rebellion. But Still loves us and will send forth more messages that bear his priesthood.

Soon after the know bible All the apostles and prophets were killed or the men that had the priesthood were taken from the earth. With no priesthood authority to lead the new church the doctrine and ordinances of the gospel were changed. Many plan and precious thing about the gospel were lost. But God still loves us. He prepared a why to fix the damage. When Joseph Smith was translating the Book Of Mormon he confused about the mention of baptism and need of authority. So he Went to banks of river to pray and ask God for understand. Then a angel from Heaven came to them. The angel told joseph that he was John the Baptist. He lay ed his hands of Joseph head and gave him priesthood authority  to baptise. Later Peter, James, and John who received that same “power and authority” from Jesus Christ Himself (Luke 9:1). These men appeared as angels and bestowed the priesthood upon Joseph Smith. Much like on the mount of transfiguration when moses and elijah visited Jesus. With this two events and other Gods  has once again bought his church and priesthood to earht. I Know this true. You learn for our self by study and pray. Here is a website were you can learn more http://mormon.org/restoration/

Where does life Being and End

You existence don't begin a birth nor end at death. Our bodies is made up of a soul or spirit and physical body. The soul are from God, he made our spirits he is father of us all. Before we came earth we were spirits with God. He made a plan for us to grow and learn. Part of this plan met that we need to come to earth gain a body and mortal experiences. If we grow in faith and understanding of Jesus Christ, repent of our sins, be baptised for remission of sins, receive the gift of Holy Ghost, and endure to the end or to live faithful to end. We can return to live with Him again, this is great gift that can be given to us.

Our hope and happiness lie in knowing who we are, where we came from, and where we can go. We are eternal beings, spirit children of an eternal God. Our lives can be compared to a three-act play: premortal life (before we came to earth), mortal life (our time here on earth), and postmortal life (where we go after we die). God has had a plan for our lives since the beginning of the first act—a plan that, if followed, provides comfort and guidance now, as well as salvation and eternal happiness in our postmortal life.

We are Children of God

One of greatest and most powerful doctrine that we can know. Is that we all are spirit children of God. God is is Father of our spirit or souls. He created us and has given us an earth home. A place for us to learn and grow to become like Him. God like parents on earth, is fulled with love for his children. He loves on matter we do, say, or think. His love has no limits and bounds.

In the bible we read in Romans 8 16The Spirit itself beareth awitness with our bspirit, that we are the cchildren of God:
17And if children, then heirs; aheirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we bsuffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  So moral parents we in likeness of our spirit Father. As babes we start with little by over time we grow and learn. and over years we become like our parents. Its doesn't happen all in day, but over a lifetime. We have a great divine potential to be a joint-heir with Christ or to gain that which He has. This great gift comes has suffer with him or do our best to do God's Will.God is perfect in His love, wisdom, care, and concern for us. He knows us individually and loves us more than we can comprehend, and He wants us to find happiness.

Happy Family

Family's spouses, children, brothers, sisters, and parents are some people we love the most. We live with them work with them and play with them. The sadly this of every person around us this are the people we hurt the most. With word, lack and support, and no affection shown. If truly love them why are we so afraid or hasted to show it and say it. We all have weakness and all are trying to become better.  Love is a choice, we choose to overlook their mistakes, weakness, and problems and focus on the good things about them. Family is what matters most. We cannot  fail here for we fail here our life will fall apart. Family is work and sacrifice you need both to have a happy and success family. Don't like negative thoughts or pride destroy your family. Pray for help and  do your best to be like Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormons build Temples.

Temples are houses of the Lord, the most sacred structures on the earth. At the time of the Restoration, the Lord commanded Joseph Smith to once again build temples on the earth. Like ancient temples, today’s temples are also sacred places where God may. In temples, Church members participate in ordinances designed to unite their families together forever and help them return to God. Family relationships can last forever—not just for this life

Who is joseph Smith

All that we believe and do that separate us from others church balanced by Joseph Smith. He was the lord servant is this modern time to resorted the true church and it priesthood back to the earth. Many disclaimed Joseph and his work but like the prophets of old and Jesus him self were rejected by the people.

Joesph as raised in United States, which was the only country to proclaim religious freedom at the time. His family was deeply religious and constantly sought the truth. When 14 he seek to know with Church he should join but all their was spiritual confusion when visited the many Christian denominations. He later wrote, “So great were the confusion and strife among the different denominations, that it was impossible for a person young as I was . . . to come to any certain conclusion who was right and who was wrong. . . . In the midst of this war of words and tumult of opinions, I often said to myself: What is to be done? Who of all these parties are right; or, are they all wrong together? If any one of them be right, which is it, and how shall I know it?” (Joseph Smith—History 1:8, 10).

He turned to the Bible for guidance. He read, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:5). With simple faith he decided to do just that. In the spring of 1820 he went to a nearby grove of trees and knelt in prayer. He described his experience: “I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. . . When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Joseph Smith—History 1:16–17).

In his vision God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared. The Savior told Joseph not to join any of the churches.Although many good people at that time believed in Christ and tried to understand and teach His gospel, they didn’t have the fullness of truth or the authority to baptize and perform other saving ordinances. So began the long and painful process to rebuild and restore the truth of God and His gospel to the earth.  I know that his story is true and there is proof of it. By their fruits we will know a true prophet from a false one. The Book of Mormon, the good works of him and the church, and joy of fullness of the gospel are all fruits or a way to taste goodness.  You can learn more at http://mormon.org/restoration/

mythbuster for mormons Part 2

My first post about Mormons myths was great sucess so i want to do an other one. So today wanted to discuss some common misunderstanding about Mormons and there beliefs. We love all followers of Christ in other Church's but we know this thing to be true. We learn for our self the true. We don't have to guess or hope you can know. By the spirit we can the truth of all things. As study, ponder, and pray you and unlock the windows of heaven

Myth 1 Mormons aren't Christian
We are Christians in a very real sense and that is coming to be more and more widely recognized. Once upon a time people everywhere said we are not Christians. They have come to recognize that we are, and that we have a very vital and dynamic religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. We, of course, accept Jesus Christ as our Leader, our King, our Savior...the dominant figure in the history of the world, the only perfect Man who ever walked the earth, the living Son of the living God. He is our Savior and our Redeemer through whose atoning sacrifice has come the opportunity of eternal life. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith and the head of our Church. The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ and witnesses of His divinity, His life, and His Atonement. click here to learn more

Myth 2 Mormon all are from Utah
The LDS church is a world wide church. since 1836 it as spend to whole earth. currently membership is at 14,131,467. With 28660 Congregations in 166 languagess. We now a Church  of diversity with member all around to wourld. This is just the begin, the church will bless billions of peoples lives. No one is segregated  all the same.see more here stats of the church

Myth 3. its not really a myth but more a clearfation. We know like Christ church of older that sent out men to preach the gospel. Today the prophet has renewed the call. Missioners are now call to serve and go out  unto whole world.Church members consider it a privilege to show their love for other people and the Lord by sharing the gospel.Missionaries generally begin serving when they are from 19 to 21 years old. Many retired seniors, men, women, and married couples also serve missions. Missionaries serve from 18 months to 2 years. Missions are voluntary, and missionaries are not paid for their service. Missionaries share a message about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all people. They teach about our Heavenly Father’s great plan of salvation, which allows all people the opportunity to return to Him.
